A career that grows with you

At Excelcare, learning does not stop when you start – it is built into everything we do. When you join us, you will follow a tailored induction around your role, and an ongoing development programme designed to help you feel confident, supported and proud of the work you do.

Many people have grown within the Excelcare family, and we support you every step of the way to learn, develop and progress.

Volunteer with Excelcare

Our volunteers give the greatest gift of all – their time – helping to bring companionship, connection and joy to the people living in our homes.

Whether it is sharing a cup of tea, helping with activities, supporting at mealtimes or simply having a chat, your time makes a real difference.

You do not need experience – just kindness and a willingness to help. We provide full support and fund your DBS.

If you can spare a few hours a week and would like to make a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.

I am a volunteer.

I'm very happy to be a small part of this lovely place.

As a retired carer having worked in two care homes, abd also having visited several different care homes, I can honestly say Lime Court is one of the best. It's a home-from-home, with a team who are doing their very best to care and entertain the residents

Volunteering at Sweyne Court is a privilege.

Sweyne Court is a welcoming, loving and determined care home, which strives to go the extra mile for the care of their residents. Talking with the residents who are always smiling due to the fantastic care they receive is wonderful. I highly recommend Sweyne Court to anyone as they always go that extra mile, never failing to keep up with the demands of residents.
