Our job roles

We welcome people from all walks of life. And you don’t have to have done the exact job before. We can spot people with potential. For example, a nail technician could make a great carer – and could even do people’s nails at the same time!

Or a mechanic could make a great maintenance manager. In fact, that’s what one of our very own maintenance manager Jim did before he worked for us.

Whatever you do now, if any of the below are true for you, we’d love to hear from you!

I am passionate about helping people with their day-to-day tasks
I want to help combat loneliness among older people
I want to give back to my local community
I’m considering a change in career and a role in care appeals to me
I have strong customer service skills
People describe me as being kind and compassionate
I am known to be a dedicated and reliable person to work with

I am a volunteer.

I'm very happy to be a small part of this lovely place.

As a retired carer having worked in two care homes, abd also having visited several different care homes, I can honestly say Lime Court is one of the best. It's a home-from-home, with a team who are doing their very best to care and entertain the residents

I am a volunteer.

Volunteering at Sweyne Court is a privilege.

Sweyne Court is a welcoming, loving and determined care home, which strives to go the extra mile for the care of their residents. Talking with the residents who are always smiling due to the fantastic care they receive is wonderful. I highly recommend Sweyne Court to anyone as they always go that extra mile, never failing to keep up with the demands of residents.
