At Excelcare, we support the people living in our care homes to live with as much independence as possible. Always ensuring everyone leads a high quality of life and has a voice in running our services. We achieve this in partnership with the individual’s friends and family, and other health care professionals.
By focusing on nurturing strong relationships and bonds with the people we care for–as well as the people important in their lives–we can deliver excellent quality person-centred care and provide residents with a wealth of opportunities to enjoy every day.
Is nursing care right for my family?
Our homes offer nursing suites with qualified nurses and skilled team members, providing care and support to people who require specialist care.
Our care offerings include support for complex health needs, specialist medication administration and clinical procedures. As well as the careful monitoring of vital health statistics to enable early intervention and proactive management of diagnoses.
In addition to our registered nurses, we have a team who provide support for other crucial life elements. This includes personal care, laundry, cleaning and our home-cooked meals, as well as the facilitation of a range of activities and hobbies.
Some of our care homes also provide specialist care for people with nursing needs who are also living with dementia.
Our approach to nursing care
In an Excelcare home, we provide people with tailored support for each aspect of their lifestyle – such as cooking, cleaning, and washing – with the addition of nursing care as well.
Every person requires their own individual level of care. There is no one right type of care for everyone, which is why we support you in finding the right level of care for your loved one.
Our homes also offer a variety of opportunities to try new things in a safe and comfortable environment.
