Welcome

to Brook House

Brook House is home to a close community and a warm and friendly team. As a vibrant home full of laughter and fun, our Brook House is a happy place where everyone is welcome. Being close to the centre of Cambridge, we also keep close ties with the local community.

The team are very friendly and helpful.

The entire home is light and airy, spotlessly clean and a joy to be in.

From our first meeting at Brook House, both the Manager and Deputy Manager have been so helpful. They totally understood our needs as well my parents and they went out of their way to find rooms which would suit my parents thus allowing them to carry on as if they were still in their own home. Every member of staff we have met has been happy in their work and very friendly and helpful.

Resident at Brook House

My mum's transformation has been miraculous.

We knew we had made the right choice with Brook House.

From the very first phone call to Brook House, we knew we had made the right choice. The Deputy Manager, did not know my mum but took the time to ask about her and her needs and genuinely cared, which was truly priceless. The transformation in my mum since moving here has been nothing short of miraculous. She is now so full of life and looks ten years younger. She has made friends and participates in the activities.

My cousin is so well cared for.

She has resided at Brook House for just over a year.

On first entering the care home, she was frightened and disorientated, but has become calm and happy in her environment, always partaking in entertainment in house and lovely trips to choir in Halstead, and the lunches out and the visits to nurseries.

Living with us and our approach

As a small and inclusive home, we make sure the people who live here and their loved ones each have a say in what goes on and how they are cared for.

Our kind team members spend time getting to know the people who live with us, as well as their loved ones. This helps us provide tailored support and adapt it as a person’s needs change.
