I honestly feel like Ashlyn Care Home has saved my mum's life.
She has put on weight thanks to the great food and regular meals which she didn't do for herself at home. Her mental health has improved thanks to regular stimulation from the chats with the team and the events the home plans. She wasn't keen to go into a home to start, but now she has a new lease of life and is very happy being part of the Ashlyn family. All the team we meet are friendly and helpful and were great with advice for me when my mum first arrived. I really can't thank them all enough they do an amazing job despite it being very challenging at times.

Buchan House has been designed both to bring the people who live here together for quality time in pleasant company, and also to enable individuals to spend time on their own if that’s what they prefer. Throughout the building and grounds, different areas allow for privacy or socialising, from our communal lounges and activities room, to our quiet room and pretty courtyard.

Location and surroundings
Buchan House is just north of the historical city of Cambridge, easily accessible from the A14, A10 and M11. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk away, with services to Peterborough, Huntingdon and the city centre. Cambridge train station is approximately 3 miles away.
The easy access to the centre of Cambridge means it’s easy to pop out to the shops, a cafe, or to see the sights of Cambridge. We organise trips for residents and many like to go out and about with friends and family.
