I honestly feel like Ashlyn Care Home has saved my mum's life.
She has put on weight thanks to the great food and regular meals which she didn't do for herself at home. Her mental health has improved thanks to regular stimulation from the chats with the team and the events the home plans. She wasn't keen to go into a home to start, but now she has a new lease of life and is very happy being part of the Ashlyn family. All the team we meet are friendly and helpful and were great with advice for me when my mum first arrived. I really can't thank them all enough they do an amazing job despite it being very challenging at times.

Limetree is a lovely, purpose-built care home which offers spacious and comfortable living. We place great emphasis on building friendships and maintaining relationships here, with a host of activities for everyone to enjoy. We also love celebrating birthdays and key events throughout the year, such as Black History Month and St Patrick’s Day!
- 92 bedrooms, all of which feature an en-suite wetroom, some with garden views, situated amongst 3 care suites, over 3 floors
- All floors are wheelchair accessible

Whilst we are proud of our homely, welcoming environment, we recognise Limetree’s real strength lies in our caring and dedicated team members. Our team are carefully selected for their kind nature and values, and we treat everyone with respect and dignity.
Our sensitive approach to care supports people to live safely and comfortably – which is particularly important for people living with dementia, whose reality, at times, may be different from our own.

Location and surroundings
Based just off the South Circular Road and a few minutes from the A23, Limetree is easily accessible by car. Tulse Hill station is within easy walking distance and Brixton Underground station is a short bus ride away.
The nearest bus stop is on Christchurch Road, where buses take you on the short ride to Brixton and Streatham. There is a mini-supermarket within walking distance and right on our doorstep are leafy Brockwell and Dulwich Parks (and Dulwich Picture Gallery), Tooting Bec Common and the nearby Chocolate Museum.
