I honestly feel like Ashlyn Care Home has saved my mum's life.
She has put on weight thanks to the great food and regular meals which she didn't do for herself at home. Her mental health has improved thanks to regular stimulation from the chats with the team and the events the home plans. She wasn't keen to go into a home to start, but now she has a new lease of life and is very happy being part of the Ashlyn family. All the team we meet are friendly and helpful and were great with advice for me when my mum first arrived. I really can't thank them all enough they do an amazing job despite it being very challenging at times.

Park Avenue is a diverse and stimulating place to live. We believe in going the extra mile to make people feel truly special. We organise frequent visits from local schoolchildren, therapy dogs, farm animals, entertainers and other members of the community, while the people who live here also enjoy a wide range of in-house activities.

Living with us and our approach
At Park Avenue, our skilled and experienced team members are confident in dealing with a range of health and care needs. We also embrace current research on the most successful approaches to supporting people living with dementia.
Along with the people who live here, we also invite families to play an active part in home life too. To ensure families are always kept involved and up to date, we run bi-monthly relatives’ groups.

Location and surroundings
Park Avenue Care Home is close to the A20 and A21 for easy access from the south. Our closest train station is Sundridge Park, a five-minute walk away. The nearest bus stop is just outside the entrance, with direct services on routes 126, 261 and 336 to the Glades Shopping Centre in Bromley and Grove Park train station.
Nearby places of interest include the Horniman Museum, Bethlem Museum of the Mind, Eltham Palace, Chislehurst Caves and Dulwich Picture Gallery.
