Peartree is a beautiful, purpose-built care home close to Sydenham town centre in Southeast London. Here at Peartree, we offer expert care in homely surroundings. We have fantastic facilities, a beautiful garden and lots of social activities to choose from. Our wonderful team members are always on-hand to provide high-quality care and support.

I honestly feel like Ashlyn Care Home has saved my mum's life.
She has put on weight thanks to the great food and regular meals which she didn't do for herself at home. Her mental health has improved thanks to regular stimulation from the chats with the team and the events the home plans. She wasn't keen to go into a home to start, but now she has a new lease of life and is very happy being part of the Ashlyn family. All the team we meet are friendly and helpful and were great with advice for me when my mum first arrived. I really can't thank them all enough they do an amazing job despite it being very challenging at times.

Living with us and our approach
We keep up-to-date with the latest innovations in caregiving to support each individual’s wellbeing. For example, our in-house chartered physiotherapist leads the progressive Otago exercise programme, a strength and balance retraining system specifically designed to aid physical wellbeing in older people.
We have also seen the many benefits of our research-backed, holistic Namaste programme. This uses techniques based on touch and comfort, music and aromatherapy to enhance people’s quality of life. We find the sensory stimulation refreshes and relaxes people, and is particularly beneficial to individuals living with dementia.
