The team at Hunters Down Care Home was delighted this week when they received top marks in their rating results on carehome.co.uk!

This is the largest and most widely used website when looking for information about care homes around the country. It houses information about the care services each home provides, where they’re located and what it’s like to live in each.

The platform also has a section where friends, relatives, visitors and service users can review the home, scoring it out of 5 in key areas including overall standards, facilities, care and support, cleanliness, dignity, value for money, food and drink, team activities, management, safety and security, and the quality of the rooms. Each of these ratings is reviewed by the website and informs a review score that they receive between 1 and 10.

Homes that consistently receive high marks in these reviews will find their way to the top of the website and that ever-sought-after 10/10 review score!

There has been some running friendly competition between Excelcare homes to see how many homes can hit the 10/10 top mark spot, and all of our homes have been working hard to make it to the top of the leaderboard. Now Hunters Down Care Home proudly joins the ranks, providing a great reflection of their hard work and dedication towards creating the best experience possible for the people we care for.
