I honestly feel like Ashlyn Care Home has saved my mum's life.
She has put on weight thanks to the great food and regular meals which she didn't do for herself at home. Her mental health has improved thanks to regular stimulation from the chats with the team and the events the home plans. She wasn't keen to go into a home to start, but now she has a new lease of life and is very happy being part of the Ashlyn family. All the team we meet are friendly and helpful and were great with advice for me when my mum first arrived. I really can't thank them all enough they do an amazing job despite it being very challenging at times.

Primrose Croft is a small, close-knit family where everyone is welcome. The people who live here enjoy sociable mealtimes and meaningful activities, visits from friends and family and trips out into our beautiful garden, or to our special nostalgic sweet shop!

Location and surroundings
Primrose Croft is located in a quiet residential area a mile north of the city of Cambridge, just across the river from Jesus Green. The A14 and M11 are both an easy 10-minute drive for those visiting from slightly further afield. Cambridge North railway station has services to Norwich, Ely, Kings Lynn, Cambridge and London.
A range of local shops are within walking distance, and our local bus stop is just a three minutes’ walk away, with services into the town centre for a wider variety of shops, restaurants and a daily market. Further afield are the pretty towns of Bury St Edmunds and Huntingdon and the National Trust properties of Wimpole Hall and Houghton Mill.
