Life with us

Life with the Excelcare family means safety, security, comfort, and days filled with smiles and meaning. It means knowing that care and support are available 24/7 from our highly qualified team members who will always treat people with kindness and compassion. It means always having someone to turn to for a chat and a cuppa. It means belonging.

Everyone who lives with us is recognised as an individual. We listen to each person’s likes, dislikes and needs, which helps us to deliver tailored care, and support people to make special memories each day.

Friends and family are always welcome at our homes; you’ll be embraced with open arms by our team members and welcomed as part of our family.

We truly value the input of the people who live in our care home as well as their loved ones, seeing them as an extension of our own team. After all, they know best when it comes to both care and how they wish to spend their days.

Types of care

Our teams provide a range of residential, nursing, dementia, respite, end-of-life and day care. Offering a number of care types means we can meet people’s needs as they change over time. This gives people continuity with their care and often means they don’t have to move home if their needs change over time.

We also have a homecare service for those who want to remain living at home but need some extra support. Our registered homecare branch provides care and support to a variety of clients of all ages living within the London borough of Tower Hamlets.

More about wellbeing

Belong

in our care homes

We want everyone to feel happy and valued in our care homes. That’s why we treat each and every person as an individual. Our dedicated team members go above and beyond to make the people who live with us belong – whether it’s arranging activities they enjoy, making their favourite meals, or simply making the time for a chat every day.

I've seen such a change in her.

I honestly feel like Ashlyn Care Home has saved my mum's life.

She has put on weight thanks to the great food and regular meals which she didn't do for herself at home. Her mental health has improved thanks to regular stimulation from the chats with the team and the events the home plans. She wasn't keen to go into a home to start, but now she has a new lease of life and is very happy being part of the Ashlyn family. All the team we meet are friendly and helpful and were great with advice for me when my mum first arrived. I really can't thank them all enough they do an amazing job despite it being very challenging at times.

Care home resident

I am so glad he is here.

The level of care my husband has received has been consistently first-class.

Before he came to live in Rheola, I had checked out other care homes, spoken with relatives of residents in other care homes, read reviews, etc. I feel fully confident he is being cared for well, his health needs are being dealt with promptly, and he is being treated with respect.

I could not ask for anything better.

I am overwhelmed with the love and care my mum is receiving here.

Abbot Care Home has made such an absolute difference to her life and ours. Thank you for all the love care and compassion you are showing for my mum. Thank you also goes to the entertainment team who constantly bring a big smile to my dear mum's lovely face. The compassion every single person shows in Abbot Care Home is a reminder of how society should be.
