We are proud to be one of the top-rated care providers in the UK, regularly winning awards for our exceptional care. The true winners of these awards are our wonderful team members, and we are always delighted to see their efforts appreciated on a national level. At Excelcare, we also love to celebrate our teams internally, with annual awards ceremonies recognising the team members who go above and beyond for the people we support.
National awards
We were delighted to take home an award for ‘Top 20 Large Care Home Group’ at the prestigious 2024 carehome.co.uk awards. Carehome.co.uk is known as the TripAdvisor for care, and this award reflects our success as a top-rated provider with an average review score of 9.7/10. It is also the fifth consecutive year we have won the award, an achievement we are incredibly proud of.
Not only that, but our homes Hunters Down, Longfield, Park Avenue, Peartree and Sherrell House won awards for being in the top 20 care homes in their region. This is a phenomenal achievement and testament to the hard work and caring nature of the teams in the homes.
Excelcare awards
Every year, we hold a special awards festival to celebrate the team members who have truly gone above and beyond for the people we support.
At the festival, our award winners are joined by friends and colleagues to celebrate as we present them with certificates and gifts to say thank you for their care and dedication. It is always the highlight of our social calendar!

Heart 'n' Soul Awards 2023
On 30th June 2023, we hosted our annual awards at Braxted Park Estate, a beautiful country house near Great Braxted, Essex. This year, we recognised outstanding leaders who lead with their ‘Heart 'n' Soul’, prioritising a person-centred approach and inspiring teams to provide outstanding care.
After a moving and joyful awards ceremony in which we cheered on all the winners, the Heart 'n' Soul Festival began on the back lawn, with fairground rides, cocktail-making classes, 'Excelcare's Got Talent,' and a soul-themed nightclub. There was even the chance to ‘beat the boss’, our CEO Ozzie Ertosun, at basketball!
